Starting a Small Business

First thing I could say about this is DON'T. Second thing I would say when you're starting a small business is read Danny Wilson's site about the subject. Miss it and you're cutting your first corner (tut tut!)

Of course there is nothing like doing something yourself, and doing it well. That's what reading Wilson's site is all about - doing it well. Much of his subject matter is good plain old fashioned advice, but for the entrepreneur of this day and age. And it's not rubbish either.

As businesses go bankrupt the length and breadth of Britain's high streets, one cannot help but think "they're bound to doing that!" Here is the place to realise what it is that people are doing (still - much is repeated mistakes that people never learn from).

Price should be the main thing, and it is - but what about the other things that just put people off. Sometimes when starting a small business you need somebody to say the obvious out loud - just look at all the people going bankrupt - they can't all be wrong (LOL).

Ever wondered why jou just don't like a place and never go back there? Sometimes we genuinely don't even think about it, we just avoid what we don't like without verbalising it. This is the most stubborn form of dislike to overcome, so you'd be well advised to listen to somebody verbalising profoundly.

Customers are just human beings, and may never even become customers at all. They all tick the same way and working out why they behave like they do will go a long way to instilling success into any venture.

Starting a Small Business is well written, entertaining and will even make you laugh indirectly. It won't take long to read and Danny doesn't charge for the pleasure. Try it today, even if you've gone past starting a small business and have entered the "it's murder trying to stay open" phase.
